2 days!

Hola!

This week we got to Skype with a member from Mexico and share a lesson with them. It was so amazing!! It was so awesome because we had a lesson planned out with exactly what we were going to say, but by the end we scratched that and just went with the flow. Very scary to do in Spanish, but it worked out and the spirit was so strong. The member even started to get emotional, SCORE.

A little while ago Me and Hermana Johnson got called as the "music coordinators" in our branch. And we are the least musical people on this planet. Basically we just lead the music and chose the hymns and musical numbers for Sundays. Well we couldn't find anybody who could do a musical number for this Sunday, so we decided to have our district sing. When we told them the news, our district was SO MAD and they all hate us now. In Hermana Johnson's words "it was like we asked them to extended a month in the MTC." haha so pray for us and our musical number this Sunday, because we are all terrible at singing.

On Tuesday, Elder Ulisses Soares came and spoke! The spirit was so strong when he walked in, it was amazing. He talked about a lot of things, but the thing that stood out to me most was when he said "obedient missionaries are always the happiest missionaries." He also talked about how we are on The Lord's time not ours. This week I made it a goal forget myself, because this is not my mission, it is Christ's mission. I can honestly say that when I am thinking of Christ instead of myself, I am SO much more happier.

In 60 hours I will be in Costa Rica! I can't believe it. I'm nervous but also so excited! The scripture that I've had in mind a lot this week is 1 Nephi 4:6. There are a lot of unknowns as I head into a foreign country, not knowing the language. But I know that I can be led by the spirit and everything will work out perfectly :)

Con amor,
Hermana Hill
