another week in paradise...I mean poas

poas is just too pretty! pictures don't do justice!

My first week leading the area and we only got lost once! wahoooo. I call that I miracle because I am directionally challenged and our area is the size of jupiter. Things have been going super well with Hermana Mejia! She is very different from my other companion but it is so awesome because I have learned different things from both! Hermana Mejia KNOWS HOW TO BRING THE SPIRIT. like wow our lessons are so spiritual and she is so good at adapting them to the needs of the people we are teaching. it's amazing. The only complaint I have about her is that she is from mexico and she doesn't know how to make rice. What mexican doesn't know how to make rice??

Sadly Anthony didn't get baptized this week :( hopefully soon!! he wants to get baptized the only thing is that he is drinking coffee.... we're gonna try to help with this!

Butttttt this week the cutest old lady named Bonnie is going to get baptized! she is a friend of giovanni and they go together like bread and butter jaja. We taught the word of wisdom and then asked to take her coffee away and she was like "you don't trust me?" and then right then and there she took all her coffee and started dumping it down the sink jajajaja we were dying it was so funny and so awesome. 

also Giovanni's kids came to church! and they loved the primary. it was great.

I love the mission! everyday I have to go out of my comfortzone and it can be scary. but I have learned so much here in costa rica. it's crazy. Heavenly Father is awesome.

Hermana Mejia actually knows english, but we never speak in english haha. I feel like my spanish is a lot better and I can communicate preatty well! hermana mejia was shocked with how well my spanish was haha... i was flattered.... don't mean to brag though! it's very far from perfect. hermana mejia and her fam were converted 4 years ago when her dad died. she's pretty amazing!
