cambios!

holy cow.

Mi compa left me for mexico :( I guess now that a year and a half is up she has responsibilites to get married or something. But we ended her mission right with a baptism! We met a 24 year old guy named Yosimar on the street and invited him to church and he was like "yeah I've been thinking about going to a church but I just didn't know which one" and then 2 days later he showed up to church! Then we taught him for the next few weeks and basically Heavenly Father is preparing people for this gospel because everything went so smoothly and he was baptized and confirmed this Saturday! And now he wants to prepare for a mission! 

I'm here in Poas still! My new companion is Hermana Cadena from Las Vegas. She is so awesome! Technically she has 6 months in the mission but she's only been in Costa Rica for 6 weeks because the first 3 transfers she was serving in California waiting for her visa! So yeah I'm pretty terrified because now I can't rely on my comp to speak spanish for me when I can't haha. We are definitely gonna be praying for the gift of tongues this transfer! 

Also Poas is growing so now we have another set of missionaries in our Branch! So this week I'm gonna show them all around Poas and figure out how we are gonna share the area... it's gonna be stressful but the branch is so excited to have more help!
