aaaand rainy season begins
Now that it's "winter" here it literally rains EVERYDAY. and it's not just any kind of rain. It literally pours and never stops. heres to having wet, soggy, pruned, granny feet and hands 24/7!! woo. Even though it rains I'm usually sweating at the same time because it's still hot and humid. Butttt hey I'm not complaining! I'm so blessed to have warm weather and the beautiful greenery here 🤗
This week Elder Uceda (The area seventy over all of Central America) came for a conference and it was so good! He told us that about every 30 minutes someone gets baptized in Central America... isn't that crazy?? I was shocked. butttt he also talked about being better in making true disciples.he said "no missionary is allowed to rest until their investigators have had a personal spiritual experience." He told us that we should never teach lessons, and all we need to do is HELP them read The Book of Mormon and pray to know if it's true and HELP them have a spiritual experience. He promised us that if we focus on helping them complete commitments, we will DOUBLE the amount of converts. and they will stay in the church as true disciples. It was so amazing!
