Today we had transfers but I will be staying here in Escazu with Hermana Melchior! Honestly this last transfer was the hardest transfer of my whole mission with the least success butttttt we are ready to start fresh, keep working and working and working, and let the Lord do the rest 🤗
On Thursday we went to the temple and it was sooo amazing and peaceful as always! Here in the mission we get to go every 3 months and it is such a blessing!
This week we had intercambios with the Sister Training Leaders and Hermana Anderegg came with me and we spent a few days here in Escazu! She actually is from Centerville and she went to Viewmont and we had seminary together! aaaaand we found out that we have the same birthday! (she's one year older) jaja but it was so fun and she is seriously the cutest.
This week I was feelin a lil down because we have just being working soooo hard but our "numbers" aren't showing it. I was starting to wonder if my work was appreciated. But then in the temple I opened the scriptures right to Luke 5. Simon is telling Christ how he as worked all night long but hasn't caught any fish. I have never related to a scripture more in my whole life jaja. But he follows Christ's words and continues to fish anyway. THEN they caught a multitude of fish. I realized that sometimes our "fish" don't come immediately after our hard work. Sometimes we have to fish the "whole night" and even more before we catch our fish.
I know that God answers our prayers and knows exactly what we are going through :)
I feel so blessed to be here, I love Costa Rica and the people so much. ¡Vida Pura!
