10 Pound Mark.... and 10 months
This week we are celebrating a double whammy! I have offically gained 10 pounds!!!.... AND I completed 10 months. I'm trying to decide if the next 8 months I should try to lose the 10 pounds, or just gain 10 more. With the amount of rice I'm eating here... I think I'll just gain 10 more. but WOW Time flies!!! It feels like just yesterday I was in the MTC crying because I didn't know Spanish.
This week we saw a lot of tender mercies. It seems like that just when we were ready to give up or lose our faith we were able to find some amazing people to talk to, or see some amazing progress in our investigadores. For example. One of the people we are teaching really wasn't progressing much and he wouldn't even pray so we really didn't know what else we could do to help him.. but this week HE PRAYED FOR THE FIRST TIME. We came out of that lesson SOOO HAPPY we literally couldn't stop talking about it all day jajaja it was the cutest little prayer ever. We are truly seeing how the gospel of Jesus Christ can change people!
I love Costa Rica and being a missionary and I'm so happy :)
