Earthquakes y Baptisms
This week we went on intercambios with the STLs and I got to go to an area named Orotina with Hermana Mañon¡ She is my sister in the mission because we arrived together and she is one of my most favorite people on the planet. Her fam is from the Dominican Republic but she grew up in the straight hood of Texas and she legit spent her high school days in straight gang fights. One night she described all the fights she got in and I legit was crying laughing jajaja it was the best thing. She told me she's gonna teach me how to fight. heck yeahhh.
During intercambios there was an earthquake¡¡ out of no where the whole house just started shaking for like 10 seconds but then it was over. so there's that. At least now I can say I've been in an earthquake¡ apparently there was some parts that it got to an 6.1¡
aaaaaand finally we had a baptism¡¡ wahooo. Her name is Scarleth and she's 17 and she is the cutest thing ever. Her fam is from Nicaragua and her house is legit half the size of my room at home. She was a reference from her cousin Lenin who got baptized about 3 years ago. Honestly it was a miracle that we were able to get permission from Scarleth's mom. Heavenly Father rocks.
Today we went on a crazy steep hike and I thought I was gonna die. but we were so high up in the clouds it was so awesome.
I love being a missionary¡¡¡ vida puraaa
