Wow what a week! I didn't have time to write an email last week because we spend our WHOLE Pday walking around looking for a house for other hermanas to live in! It was really exhausting.
I have a new companion and I'm training! Yep a straight greenie. Okay but she is so cute and I love her so much! Her name is Hermana Lopez and she's from Mexico City, Mexico. She's 22 and super mature! I honestly don't even feel like I'm training because she already knows how to teach, contact, work with members and everything! It's definitely making my job easy! I thought training was going to be super stressful but I feel really relaxed jaja its awesome.
This week nothing too exciting happened but I promise that everyday we see little miracles!! Like watching an Athesist pray for the first time. Wow that was so special!!
On another note, everyone tells you that in the mission you learn how to speak in sacrament meeting for like 30 min super easily. I am here to tell you that it is a LIE. On Wendesday they asked me to speak in sacrament meeting and yes that might sound like a lot of time to prepare but usually when I give talks I need good 2 weeks notice,1 week to write it, and 1 week to practice it jaja. Especially if it's gonna be in Spanish. I was super stressed. But somehow I whipped somethin together using copy and paste from Gospel Library on Saturday night. And on Sunday 8am I just kinda winged it. It was terrifying but hey I think it actually went pretty well!
If you were to ask me my least favorite part of the mission, I would tell you weekly planning. Lucky me because weekly planning just happened to fall on my Birthday! We did that in the morning, and the rest of the day was super normal where all our appointments fall through and it's raining! jaja. But it was honestly the best birthday ever because it was the first time in all my birthdays where I forgot the whole day that it was my birthday! I promise that we are a lot happier when we are thinking of others!!
We are still working with Jose, he's coming to church every week and its so awesome, he has a fear of getting baptized because he knows its something really serious, but we are still working with him.
I love the mission so much!
