a little miracle

For the past 6 weeks we've been teaching someone named David. He is 22. He was almost Atheist and when he met us he told us he wanted to know if God existed or not. We were like ¨Yep we can help you with that!¨ long story short, over these past 6 weeks he was progressing a lot! He started praying, reading the scriptures, and even went to church!! But even though he was doing all these things he never could feel The Holy Ghost and it was so weird and kinda frustrating.But this week we went and visited him and he told us that for the first time he felt some thing different when he prayed!!! we told him it was the holy ghost!! He wasn't sure if he beleived us or not jaja but then right then and there we prayed with him and the spirit was so strong! butttt he still wasn't sure if he felt it or not.

It was kinda disappointing because all we want is for him to feel the Holy Ghost! But I was reminded of the story in 3 Nefi 11 when Christ comes to the americas for the first time. The Pueblo of Nefi can literally hear God's voice 3 times before they actually UNDERSTOOD the voice. Sometimes it takes us more than one time to FEEL the spirit, and later UNDERSTAND the spirit. I hope that soon David can really understand the spirit and accept it, but I have to understand that it's in the Lord's timing, and I am only here to invite. :)
