ONE YEAR

Hola!!

Holy Cow!!! Time needs to slow down. I can't believe I have been in the mission for one year!! It has been the most rewarding year of my life where I have definitely learned the most and had to rely on my Heavenly Father. I am sosososos grateful to be here and have so many amazing expereiences in Costa Rica sharing Christ's gospel!

This week I learned that here in Heredia they have a weird tradition where they have a parade with a bunch of people with weird masks and they take REAL COW BLADDERS, fill them up with water and straight up HIT PEOPLE in the streets with COW BLADDERS. I've tried asking where this tradition came from but literally no one knows, it doesn't even happen at a certain time of year or anything. At any given day it will just happen just for fun and no one knows why jajajajaja I love Costa Rica. I will attach some pics of this extraordinary event.

Anyways, this week a lot of our investigadores who were progressing to baptism left us. It's actually really sad to watch people turn down The Gospel of Jesus Christ, but I guess it's all part of the plan right? Despite many people to left us we actually found other people who are listening to us and progressing little by little. I know we have so many blessings and that God can work miracles!

Vida Pura!
