This week my year streak of not getting attacked by a dog has come to an end. I was just casually walking along minding my own business preaching the word of God when a mini satan dog came out of no where and started attacking my leg. I honestly didn't know what to do and I thought if I fought it, it would attack more so I was just in shock and then my companion came to my rescue and smacked it off me with her umbrella jajajajaj it was quite a show. Honestly it didn't even bite me that bad, but every dog bite we have to report to the mission president's wife and she told me that I have to check on the dog's behavior every few days to make sure it doesn't have rabies. SO GET THIS. Every few days we knock on the door of the owner and casually ask if their dog has been experiencing any strange behavior jajaja. What a good start to sharing the gospel:)
Ok on Sunday we saw two awesome miracles!! We were teaching Jose and he was progressing sooooo much. but then out of no where he moved to live with his girlfriend and stopped answer all of our phone calls and texts messages, and never answered the door either..... this happened like 3 weeks ago. But on Sunday out of no where he showed up to church!!!!! It was so amazing. We are going to try to keep working with him but now that he's living with his girlfriend its SUPER difficult for him to get baptized because they have to get married, but they can't get married because they are both from Nicaragua and illegally living here... so we'll see what happens :) but seriously it was so awesome how he showed up to church out of no where!!
AND the same thing happened with Daniel, we put a baptism date, but then out of no where he completely ignored us and never answered us in any form. BUT on Sunday we got lost looking for an address of someone else, and suddenly we felt very strongly that we needed to visit Daniel, (even though we went to his house about 20 times before and he never answered the door) but this time we felt it so strong! So we went, AND HE ANSWERED THE DOOR. He said he has passed through a lot of hard things in the past few weeks but now he wants to find God again and come back to church and accept our visits! ahhh! It was amazing!!
We have a God of Miracles :)
