Birthday Cake x5
If I could describe my companion in one story this would be it:
Alright so she has 2 birthdays. She was born October 17, but her LEGAL birthday is August 20 because her mom changed her birthdate so that she could enter school the same year with her sister. So we already celebrated it back in August but she didn't tell me it wasn't her REAL birthday just so we could celebrate it twice jajaja oh geez.
ALLL week long we celebrated her birthday. On Monday we made cake with a member. on Wednesday we ate cake with everyone at district meeting. on thursday we bought TWO cakes to eat with our cook because she didnt think 1 was enough. And then later at an investigadors house they offered us cake jajaja. We ate a lot of cake it was awesome!!
We are still working with great people! We are working with Ana, she's super great and has gone to church 3 times and said that she has gone to a LOT of churches and has felt the most peace in this one!! We had a lesson with bro y sis Obando (ex member of the 70) (and we live in their apartment) and the lesson was awesome!!!!! The only thing is that her and her husband arent married so they have to get married.
We were planning a baptism for this Saturday for a 9 year old buttt the ward wants us to wait 2 more weeks because thats the primary program.
We were supposed to have a baptism this for the cutest girl ever named Kristel shes 21. but her grandma is super catholic and got mad when she found out :( Kristel hasnt been answering us since.... We'll see what happens, hopefully with time and a lot of prayers!
I love this area! We have a lot of great investigators. We have a lot of people coming to church, now they just gotta get baptized jaja.
I love my comp and we learn a lot from each other and she teaches me how to be positive!!
