Happy Late Thanksgiving

I hope you all had a great thanksgiving! They don't celebrate thanksgiving here but they have a really good chicken place and I told my comp that we had to eat there on thanksgiving. I was looking forward to it alllllll day and we showed up after a long day of work excited to bring chicken home and it was closed jajaj it was a bummer. but its okay because instead we ordered papa johns!!! I was so happy. and then the next day we ate at the chicken place for lunch so it all worked out

Alright now that wrote a whole paragraph about food I guess I'll talk about something more spiritual. This week we had district meeting and interviews with presidente and I'm telling you he is so spiritual and  inspiring and we always leave feeling ready to save the whole world!!! he talked about the importance of the spirit in our mission so that WE can grow spiritually on the mission. He said that some missionaries just focus on working and working their whole mission, and what are they gonna remember when they look back on the mission? Work. It is essential that we focus on having SPIRITUAL experiences with our investigadores so that we can remember the spiritual part of the mission. wow. that hit me HARD. I feel like my whole mission I have been focusing on working and working and wanting to see miracles just from my work, and I realized that I truly need to focus on working with the spirit. 

also we have a new mission handbook and its so freaking cool!!! like half the rules are gone!! jaja but that's not why I love it. I love it because it talks a lot about our growth here in the mission and now it can benefit us for the rest of our lives. Presidente Valim told us that now we aren't living the law of moises and being commanded to follow a bunch of rules, but now it is more focused on us as missionaries using our agency and striving to become true disciples of Jesus Christ! How amazing.

also now I can read emails throughout the week, but I cant respond, so if you want to send me scriptures or uplifting thoughts I wouldn't be mad.
