Happiness

This week the ward had a temple trip and we got permission to go with some investigators and teach in the waiting room while everyone else entered, it was so amazing! At first it was kinda stressful because one of our investigators brought her 4 year old son and he was literally throwing a fit in the waiting room and it was getting pretty late at night and I thought to myself "oh geez we should've just taught them in the house like usual" buttttt we took a walk around the temple and entered again and the kid literally calmed down completely and we had a lesson that was sooo spiritual!! We stopped in the middle of the lesson and asked them how they felt in the temple. and they explained that they felt a peace that was different then anything they have felt before. And the 4 year old said "it feels like God gave me a hug" :)) Now that's the Gospel of Jesus Christ, peace that we can't get anywhere else.

We also met the cutest lady this week who has completely changed my perspective on life. I have never met anyone SOOOOOO HAPPY. She can barely hear and can barely see and has a ton of health problems and is in a lot of pain but she is SO HAPPY. She kept saying over and over how much she loves us and how much she relies on God. We couldn't teach a lesson because she couldn't hear anything we said so we just showed her pictures of Jesus and let the spirit do the work. Those are the best kind of lessons. I learned so much from her example of happiness.

No matter what our circumstances are we can always be happy, especially because we have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our loves!!! Something we are so blessed to have that so many people don't have.
